Job Description:

As the premiere luxury brand jewelry and watch retailer throughout the Caribbean, Little Switzerland is searching for an outgoing Mail Order Supervisor who identifies with this long standing history of excellence and who will enjoy working at our Corporate Office location in St. Thomas. Some brands include Breitling, Tag Heuer, and OMEGA watches along with stunning John Hardy, Roberto Coin and David Yurman jewelry.

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the Mail Order sales consultants in addition to generating and processing mail order sales on their own. This position will handle all duties related to mail order sales including generating mail order sales via mailing, internet and or telemarketing campaigns.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provide leadership to sales consultants on a continuous basis.

    • Distribute leads

    • Assist with closing sales

    • Approve transfers of merchandise following sale closing

    • Continually monitor the progress of the staff and lead skill training sessions to promote personal growth

  • Maintain a computerized customer and prospect database.

  • Field internet and telemarketing inquiries to meet sales targets

  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries by email, telephone and direct chat (or IM)

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through customized sales techniques

  • Convert current Mail Order and In Store customers into repeat buyers.

  • Liaise with stores and other departments to facilitate orders, ensuring that they are properly pulled, processed and delivered.

  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.

  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys (verbal or written).

  • Maintain and report on equipment and software suitability for direct marketing and sales reporting purposes. 

  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.

  • Manage day-to-day staffing needs.

  • Submit paperwork to accounting

Experience / Education:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commission sales, customer service or telemarketing and preferably with experience in jewelry and watches.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
