We currently seek a Program Assistant to join Ameresco’s Project Team implementing energy efficiency and conservation measures at multiple project sites throughout the Virgin Islands. Will inspect and monitor energy measures, provide project status reports, and coordinate energy conservation program activities. This is a temporary opportunity.
responsibilities:Visit project sites to perform regular inspection of energy efficiency equipment, systems, and data collection measures for performance required to deliver energy savings.Review project summary to gain understanding of energy conservation program activities and requirements.Monitor and verify performance of regular and proper systems maintenance activities at project site.Gather and analyze project site information for trends in consumption and energy savings, including utility data, energy management system (EMS) trend data, project site logs and service reports.Analyze and evaluate data to verify savings using spreadsheet-based energy calculation programs.Provide regular project communication and assistance, including equipment and systems updates, reports, and documentation.Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codesCollaborate with project site to coordinate energy conservation program and training activities.Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phasesPerform other duties as required.
Skills Required
REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 4 years construction project management work experience based in the Virgin Islands and focusing on facility and infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, energy efficiency and conservation services.Completion or progress toward college, technical, or industry-related education preferred.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.Strong verbal, written, computer communication and presentation skills, including MS Office Suite.USVI residence status and U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.May be required to pass security clearance investigation.May require on-call response and travel.Interested individuals are encouraged to APPLY DIRECTLY.
