General Description

Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.  Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.  Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.  Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches, fuses.  Installs repairs or replaces floor and wall tiles, acoustic ceilings, patch concrete floors and walls and gypsum board walls.  Maintains and repairs doors, doors hinges, door closers and locks.  Assists the HVAC technicians repairing and replacing mechanical equipment's and parts.  Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.  Repairs and install cubicle and desk drawers, keyboards racks and lighting fixtures.  Operates buildings mechanical systems such as air conditioners, chillers and its necessary peripherals.  Cleans pluvial registries at roof and building perimeter.

Performs interior and exterior vehicles cleaning, including motor cleaning, in compliance with standards or regulations.  Inspects vehicles for damage inventory, tire and battery checkup, and oil and gas level. Supports mechanic with vehicles preventive maintenance and repair.  

Minimum Education

Experience

Two years of related experience.
