This is a fast-paced, high-end call center and responsible for resolving delinquency and providing outstanding customer service. We function with one key goal; to help customers find a resolution through their financial hardships and get current on their mortgage which in turn helps them protect their homes from being foreclosed. As a Home Retention Consultant you will work alongside highly motivated, well-educated peers who share your passion for providing the best possible service to our 2 million plus customers. Responsibilities: - Independently evaluate each loan assigned and the corresponding borrower based on all financial information available to develop the most beneficial resolution plan.
- Formulate resolution plans through the use of forbearance/repayment agreements, loan reinstatement, loan modification, deed in lieu, pre-approved sale, and total debt payoff.
- Communicate all aspects of resolution plan with customers and/or third parties and provide timely resolution of customer inquiries.
- Negotiate all aspects of plan with customers and third parties.
- Manage and follow up the resolution of loans assigned in a timely manner.
- Timely completion of weekly/monthly performance reports and special assignments.
- Provide friendly and empathetic assistance to all customers.
- Timely follow up to all workflows, calls (inbound and outbound), and management of portfolio.
- Work with co-workers to assist in achieving team and department goals.
- Meet or exceed Home Retention Department standards.
Key Result Areas: - Attain a monthly HRD score of 100%
- Monthly QA yield scores of 95% or greater
Qualifications: - High school degree required, a Bachelors Degree highly preferred
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals and customer service
- Banking, Finance, Mortgage, Collections or sales experience ideal – overall knowledge and experience in mortgage loan servicing is highly desirable
- Must be an effective communicator and problem solver
- Must be able to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Analytical skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Desire to be involved in helping families maintain their home
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
