Job Description:

Global trading firm seeks a Junior Accounting Analyst to join its operations. As the Analyst develops his/her skills over time, s/he will be expected to take on a leadership role within the financial reporting team. Primary responsibilities will include:

· General ledger entries in Quickbooks and internal reporting systems

· Monthly and annual Profit and Loss calculations on firm and trading group levels

· Monthly and annual equity calculations on firm and trading group levels

· Daily and monthly quality assurance checks performed on information received internally and from external vendors

Skills Required

Qualifications:

· BS in Accounting

· GPA of 3.0 or higher

· Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in public accounting or at a broker dealer

· CPA (or in the process of studying for the CPA)
