Job Description:

Virgin Islands Behavioral Services (VIBS), a 30-bed behavioral health facility, with out-patient programs and an educational component, has been providing quality health care to the residents of the Virgin Islands since 1995. Programs are located on St. Croix, along with an out-patient program on St. Thomas. An interesting and challenging experience awaits you as an employee of VIBS. You will join a group of talented, caring professionals, all committed to providing the best in quality care to our diverse resident population.

Virgin Islands Behavioral Services currently has a Cook/Housekeeper position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

1. Plans and cooks meals according to weekly menu.
2. Purchases food and cleaning supplies within the specified budget.
3. Interacts with residents in accordance to the established therapeutic process.

Skills Required

The following are the job requirements for the Cook/Housekeeper position:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2. Must possess knowledge of food preparation and sanitation.
3. Cooking experience and valid Food Handler Card required.
4. Capability to maintain effective relationships in a team-oriented environment.
