General Summary: Responsible for support of company products and services provided to current and potential customers. Support new and existing customers with processing issues. Answer questions regarding the use of company products and services. When not resolving an issue passing brand information to clients and potential clients. This is primarily an in the field position reliable transportation is mandatory.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for tier 1 technical support for merchants.
Establishes and maintains relationships with merchants.
Responsible for the care and support of customers. Assure customers are receiving excellent support and service by providing accurate and timely information.
Focuses on providing viable solutions to all customers.
Responsible for presenting quotes for IT hardware, software, and service solutions to current and potential customers.
Responsible for evaluating merchant processing for reliability and security.
Consults with customers to assess needs and use consultative skills to present solutions.
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Visit potential clients
As a field technician your own transportation is MANDATORY.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of credit card processing operations, technology, and equipment a plus.
Skill in operating office equipment including but not limited to computers, scanners and fax machines.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
Ability to notice patterns primarily regarding numbers.
Must be able to adapt and learn new skills in a fast paced industry.
