Position Summary:

Our organization is in need of a front-end web developer to help build world class marketing websites, landing pages and mobile experiences for our clients and prospects. We are looking for a person that can excel in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. the ideal candidates will have pride in their work, get excited about web technologies and have a positive attitude. This position requires knowledge of current web standards and practices. Candidates should be able to insure compatibility with a variety of browsers or operating systems. Preferred candidates are familiar with internet applications, such as HTML, HTTP, and XML and ablility to keep up with changing technical standards.

  • Web Site Management Experience
  • Web Site Disaster Recovery
  • Web Programming Skills: Expertise in HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascrip, and CMS (WordPress)
  • Multimedia Content Development
  • Web User Interface Design
  • Web Server Administration
  • Understanding Browser Capabilities
  • Web Vendor Relationship Management
  • Debug issues that arise with the performances of the websites
  • Interface with IT/Development Team and vendors for performance issues
  • Troubleshoot the sites. (This involves areas including contents, links, orders flows, registration flows and transaction logs. If problems arise with these areas of the site, the webmaster will make corrections directly or delegate the task to other memebers of the IT Department.)
  • Review statistics and monitor analytics
  • Plan for future changes to the websites
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint; Knowledge of PHP, Server-side scripting preferred
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional web development experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to develop and implement high-quality code in a timely manner is essential
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time, talking, hearing constantly
  • Occasionally lift up to 10lbs on occasion
  • Must be able to sit in front of computer monitor (s) daily
  • Noise level: moderate noise level daily in an office atmosphere
