Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Family Outreach Educator needed to conduct door-to-door canvassing of homes in targeted areas to recruit qualified applicants for Virgin Islands Partners for Healthy Communities program. The FOE will also provide outreach presentations at designated community events, neighborhood centers, businesses and organizations. FOE enrolls clients, educates about health risk reduction, disseminates incentives, tracks clients to follow up on referrals, schedules health appointments and various other activities. FOE will provide Spanish-English translation services (verbal and written) to VIPHC families and Department of Health staff members. FOE must participate in all pre-service and in-service training activities.
