SALES MANAGER – United States Virgin Islands

MASA Assist is currently looking for driven, professional, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our team. The position is based out of our USVI office location.

The primary responsibility of the USVI Sales Manager is to work closely with our existing Office Manager and lead a team of Independent Sales Representatives to obtain daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales objectives. The goal will be achieved through proper coaching, development, motivation, goal setting and general direction provided by the USVI Sales Manager. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of International Sales. Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment, and 3-5 years’ management experience. Candidates must have High School education or equivalent, BA/BS degree or industry training preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid vacation, health/vision/dental insurance and 401K. 


Skills Required

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage a team of up to 12 Independent Sales Representatives to deliver expected sales results by making outbound calls to leads, establish lead lists and handle inbound calls from prospective clients.
  • Understand, adhere to and promote the MASA Assist training and sales processes.
  • Supervision and development of the Sales Team, including hiring, disciplinary actions, setting daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals, counseling and training, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to ensure effective departmental operations.
  • Lead daily sales action planning meetings with individual Sales Representatives.
  • Continuously review and take appropriate action to improve or highlight representative statistics, including: inbound calls handed, outbound dials made, total sales and conversion rates by sales type (inbound vs. outbound).
  • Review development needs of Sales Representatives and develop individual plans for improvement, growth and/or career progression.
  • Participate in staff meetings to communicate status of current projects and to identify trends or needs within your market and the Company.
  • Ensure proper resolution to escalated client concerns and document resolution appropriately.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals through the management of individual performance objectives and accountabilities including service metrics for speed, efficiency, sales and quality of customer experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business or business-to-government environment
  • 3-5 years’ management experience, preferably in a business-to-business or business-to-government environment
  • Must have the skills and abilities to identify developmental deficiencies and create plans to address the deficiencies
  • Strong communication, organization and leadership skills
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to motivate and engage others
  • Strong planning, time management and organizational skills
