Virgin Islands Behavioral Services (VIBS), a 30-bed behavioral health facility, with out-patient programs and an educational component, has been providing quality health care to the residents of the Virgin Islands since 1995. Position Summary:
Virgin Islands Behavioral Services currently has a Clinical Program Manager position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
1. Develops goals, objectives, and policies and procedures related to the operational needs of the out-patient program. 2. Maintains the program budget and develops systems for expenditure control and FTE management. 3. Develops program schedule and ensures all employees are in compliance. 4. Assures consistent implementation of behavioral management program for juveniles and pre-delinquents.

1. At least two years experience working with children or adolescents and supervising employees required. 2. Undergraduate degree in psychology, counseling, or health related field preferred. 3. Capability to maintain effective relationships in a team-oriented environment. 4. Ability to enforce administration policies and rules governing clients.

A short term residential evaluation unit designed to respond to youths between the ages of five and seventeen years who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral difficulties.
Currently running several programs that provide respite care for children in foster care who are in crisis. VIBS is designed to provide professional residential treatment and counseling services in a family atmosphere. The therapeutic environment fosters positive self-esteem, respect for others and acceptance of responsibility for one's behavior.
VIBS also provides a secure treatment environment for severely traumatized and extremely impulsive adolescent females. VIBS provides a healing environment that can foster recovery from trauma and develop new behavioral, emotional and life skill strategies to alter their dysfunctional lifestyles.
