Job Description:

Scope: Reports to the VP of Operations and Distribution Center Director.

Working closely across all departments (Store Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Real Estate, Maintenance, and Distribution Center) this position is responsible for the logistics, shipping and purchasing of non-jewelry products.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Orders/Negotiations:

·       Create purchase orders including jewelry repair envelopes, customer info logs, toners, light bulbs, catalogs, office supplies, jeweler supplies, etc.

·       Negotiate pricing with suppliers and place purchase orders for non-merchandise supplies.

·       Continually shop core and non-core supply items for best price and quality.

·       Manage Club 1 inventory control from purchase order creation to delivery.

·       Manage cleaning staff supplies (ordering and delivering).

·       Fulfill supply requests for all stores/markets.

·       Complete Office Max visits for local office supplies.

Invoice Approval/Accounting Approval/File Management:  

·       Receive and reconcile supply invoices and submit for approval in a timely manner, once items are received.

·       Manage weekly invoice spreadsheet

Store Open/Close Management:  

·       Assist in the disbursement of old/new items (other than product merchandise) when stores open/close to assist Operations Department in logistical coordination.

Warehousing:

·       Maintain company warehouses, including tracking of inventory to determine what items we have on hand and available.

·       Physical moving of all items onto and off of hoists when delivered including very large shipments exceeding 100 boxes on multiple occasions.

·       Disbursement of marketing, construction, operations and other items from warehouse to store.


Skills Required

·       1-2 yrs logistics experience with the movement/handling of goods to meet critical deadlines

·       Familiarity with customs forms and regulations, data entry skills and basic accounting

·       Communicate effectively verbally and in writing

·       Establish and maintain effective working relationships

·       Prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously

·       Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs frequently

·       Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb

·       Unexpired driver’s license
