Job Description:

Must know and have experience in:

 Inside Plant and Outside Plant (ISP/OSP), to include

Pulling, terminating (ADSS OSP fiber optic cable and ISP fiber optic cable) for fiber network and user ends.

Pulling and terminating: Voice, Data, Co-ax cabling

Pathway installation; Cable tray, ladder rack, J hooks, etc...

Build communication cabinets, rack, and other communication enclosures

Splicing OSP and ISP fiber cables

Testing and troubleshooting fiber cable with OTDR and Power Meter

Site survey

Onsite and remote troubleshooting and repairs

Lead and manage tech crew

Accurate reporting of hours and production daily

Able to operate Fiber pulling equipment.

Strong understanding of EIA/TIA standard, National Electrical Code, Electrical Life Safety Code and OSHA.

Communicates effectively with technical and supervisory personnel.

Works as part of a team to assist in the installation of fiber

optics and copper cable. Must have a current, valid

Driver’s license.
