Retail Sales Associate/Cashier

We are hiring! We are looking to hire a hard-working, reliable, versatile, efficient, and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate/Cashier to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations. To be successful as a Retail Sales Associate/Cashier, you should be friendly, well-organized, and adept at using pricing and labeling equipment have effective communication skills, and achieve exceptional customer service at all times.

Retail Sales Associate/Cashier Responsibilities:

Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.

Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.

Balancing the cash register.

Maintaining a clean workspace.

Cutting wire, rope, flashing

Tagging new merchandise, restocking depleted or low items, and ensuring that the sales floor is clean and organized according to established guidelines.

Assisting customers to the location of desired Items.

Pulling lumber and other building materials and loading them in the customer's vehicle

Informing customers of promotions to encourage purchase.

Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items.

Willing to work with others as needed.

Willing to cross-train in other areas as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned
