As part of the chapter leadership team and by fully utilizing a volunteer cadre, the Programs and Services Director will ensure the uniform and efficient delivery of American Red Cross Disaster Response and Relief Services, Health and Safety Services, Armed Forces Emergency Services and International Social Services throughout the territory. Oversees the response to Level I and II disasters and the initiation of level III, IV and V disasters through close collaboration with the USVI Chapter leadership team, Regional Chapter and ARC National Headquarters. Manages the administrative work flow for all programs and services based on organizational priorities, technology and operationally sound protocol. Manages the quality and effectiveness of all education/training programs recommending modifications, improvements and new developments as necessary.
Skills Required
Understanding and belief in the American Red Cross mission and principles required.
Ability to collaborate and problem solve with territory disaster relief operations management.
Knowledge of ARC disaster relief, HSS, AFES, ISS procedures.
Experience in sales and marketing highly desired
Qualified to Level II relief operations director in ARC DSHR system
Ability to work with and provide leadership, oversight to volunteers
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask essential
