Sales Associate - ST. THOMAS, US Virgin Islands

A fabulous opportunity has arisen for a sales associate with experience in retail to join our rapidly expanding gift stores.
Calypso Gift operates three retail stores in the U.S. Virgin Islands which specialize in souvenirs, apparel and various locally made products.

As part of this job you will be responsible for the following:

Customer Service:
Determine customer needs
Listen to the customer
 
Sales:
Advise customer on choosing the correct product for friends or family
Complete transaction quickly and accurately while satisfying customers
Follow all sales transaction procedures accurately

Merchandising:
Understand the importance of merchandising goods and product presentation
Develop a thorough understanding of the entire store merchandise, prices and names of the products

Team Work:
Actively works with other employees to achieve goals of the store
Provides feedback to the manager and merchants regarding products, customers or possible problems

This is a full-time position. You will be required to work minimum 30 hours/week.
