Coordinate on a daily basis Service Express activities within the hotel. Works under the guidance of the Service Express Manager. Oversees the department in the absence of Service Express Management.
assists in staff supervision of the Service Express team, ensures all room, luggage and guest request items deliveries are consistent with departmental and Starwood standards.
Supervision of check in/out process, guest escort, luggage delilvery and pick-up, ensuring that multiple tasks are performed and departmental standards are followed. Supervises door, shuttle guest request and telecommunications department.
Conducts daily shift briefings and keeps all Service Express associates well informed and provides Manager with a shift report each day.
Ensures that all staff performs work in property specified time limits
Complies with all departmental lpolicies, as well as hotel rules, regulations and policies and ensures that all Service Express Staff comply with the same rules and regulations.
Must be familiar with all Westin Quality Assurance Standards and ensure 100% compliance.
Skills Required
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communiction skills, both verbal and written
Must possess basic computational and budgetary analysis skills
