Position Summary:  This person maintains an environment where safe and compassionate care is delivered consistent with the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and their receptive Department.  Contributes to the quality of patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse.  Understands basic principles of water treatment and testing and provides care for unit population. Prepares dialysis machine per unit procedure, including set-up, priming and testing of equipment.  Initiates, monitors, and terminates dialysis treatment per unit policy and reports any problems or complications to RN.  Accurately collects, documents, and reports data (i.e. vital signs, weights) appropriately in the medical record.
