Responsible for the hands-on day to day running of the Oil Nut Bay Spa with a strong focus on giving a wide variety of treatments both in the Spa and in suite/villa.
Personally drive business to the spa by engaging with guests on property, in the beach club, through special promotions as well as with superyacht guests in the area.
Lead service recovery in case of customer concern and react to all guest requests positively and deal with them in a timely and appropriate manner.
Monitor, communicate and act upon guest feedback forms.
Work with local contract spa therapists to adapt to varying business levels.Hire and train therapists as business levels grow.
Spa Management
Achieve budget objectives by meeting top line revenue targets and controlling operating expenses.
Work towards the budget by utilising stock levels appropriately and manage promotions / incentive in quiet times to drive retail sales.
Responsible for maintaining the Spa Building at the highest quality level of guest readiness by liaising with housekeeping, maintenance and any other appropriate department as required.
Ensure the maintenance of and correct usage of all equipment used by the Spa team.
Complete a detailed stock take monthly on all Spa stock and monitor stock usage on a regular basis.
Comply with all Company Policies and legal requirements relating to the operation of the Spa department with special attention to Health and Safety.
Maintain the standard operating procedures for the Spa and ensure standards are maintained. This includes standards for treatments performed, services and amenities, and operational procedures.
Promote product line for sale and use during treatments.
Maintain supplies required for the spa operation, taking regular monthly inventories and re-ordering as needed.
Attend and supporting various social functions as required.
Responsible for any other tasks as assigned. Job duties and responsibilities may vary at times and throughout the season.
Qualifications:
5+ years of therapist experience, with at least 1+ year of management
Spa Certifications
Must be well-rounded with different therapies (message, facials, etc)
Computer proficient with solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
The ability to solve problems and have a “can do attitude” that gets the job done.
Exert a high attention to detail and maintain a 5-star service mentality.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and a regularly changing work environment.
Act as a team player and facilitate communication across departments in order to achieve company objectives.
Maintain the high standards required by Oil Nut Bay.
