The Retail Specialist is responsible for merchandise sales and inventory in both the retail store and the online store at The Beach Bar, Cruz Bay, St. John. The Beach Bar is a world-famous bar/restaurant situated directly on the water in Cruz Bay, St. John. The Beach Bar shirts, hats and accessories are a big part of The Beach Bar's brand and we're looking for someone to lead the sales of our popular merchandise!

Description of Role:

Sales

- Responsible for selling merchandise to customers in The Shirt Shack,  the restaurant's retail store. Provide top-notch customer service to all shoppers.

- Maintain the look and feel of the store. Properly label, fold or hang shirts, display merchandise and accessories, and keep store clean.

- Fulfill all on-line orders as they are received. This includes putting orders together, charging the customer, and mailing the order to the customer.

Inventory

- After inventory arrival, check all items, add inventory into the Point Of Sale (POS) system, and stock the retail store with new inventory.

- Replenish inventory when low, check the POS system for low levels of merchandise and provide information to managers on low inventory levels.

- Provide guidance on top selling merchandise, merchandise that should be phased out, and merchandise that should be carried in the future.
