Responsibilities · Sell merchandise to customers and suggest related add-on sales or substitute merchandise to maximize sales. · Provide customer service exhibiting above average customer relations. · Prepare and maintain quality control counts with accuracy. · Champion the brand. Demonstrate most current product knowledge and encourage peer growth in this area. · Interpret data concerning cost price, sales price and discount price. · Recognize trends and make recommendation to result in cost reduction and profit improvement · In accordance with company standards, set up merchandise displays and ensure merchandise is tagged properly. · Receive new merchandise and prepare for display. · Maintain a record of sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. · Operate with accuracy all systems including POS and inventory control. · Maintain a customer listing for ongoing clientelling. · Completion of transactions to include credit card processing and cash reconciliation. · Point of sale computer operation. · Setting up and breaking down of store to include securing merchandise in the vault at the end of each business day. · Demonstrate caution in line with security policy and procedures to ensure the safety of merchandise at all times. · Receive and record customer repairs and adjustments in compliance with company policy. |
