Alpine Securities USVI is looking for a numbers-savvy and hard-working individual to join its trading team in St. Thomas as a trader's assistant.   WITH NO EXCEPTION, THE APPLICANT MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS*.  The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree from an accredited university and a strong record of academic and/or professional success.   An interest in financial markets is required but formal training in trading or investing is not.   The job will entail the facilitation of the trade clearing process from inception through to final clearing.  The assistant will reconcile trader's positions as well as profit and loss for various trading accounts each and every day.  The assistant will review and analyze research related to Alpine's trading process and assist with the structuring and monitoring of trades.  Prior experience using Microsoft Excel is a must.
