Job Description:
Registers guests and assigns rooms and processes guest check-outs. Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations. Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures. Maintains and controls room inventory and availability. Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department and knows cancellation procedures. Uses proper telephone etiquette. Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all time. Must have excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. Knows all safety and emergency procedures. Is aware of accident prevention policies. Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates and promotions. Knows how to use front office equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager. |
