The Nursing Aide will assist licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care in a compassionate and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility. Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff. Patient Comfort: Ensure patients are comfortable, safe, and well-cared for by regularly checking on them and addressing their needs promptly. Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities, observations, and any changes in condition in the patient's medical record. Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a clean and safe environment. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care. Mobility Assistance: Assist patients with walking, transferring, and positioning as needed, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. Emotional Support: Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering reassurance and comfort during difficult times. Supply Management: Maintain and organize medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and properly sanitized. Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care. |
