The job of a medical technologist involves independent performance and working under established procedures, performing a wide variety of laboratory tests and procedures including collection, preparation observation and processing of bacteriologic, chemical, morphologic, and microscopic tests which provide data for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases.This person assumes responsibility and accountability for the duties of the position and is cognizant of the philosophy, standards, objectives, and policies of the Schneider Regional Medical Center and the Laboratory Department.
