Job Description:

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Responsible for transporting, installing, and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.  Equipment installation may include (although not limited to), Gemini's, Monitors, external antennas, Altura terminals TSP's, printers and any other equipment identified for installation by IGT.
  • Promptly remove all IGT equipment at retailer locations that have been identified for de-installation by the Field Services Supervisor.
  • Full utilization of Cadence application for internal processes set by the department.
  • Adhere to IGT's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle; this includes performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshooting to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field.  This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or repairing the malfunctioning component.
  • Completion of scheduled Preventative Maintenance as per assigned Key Performance Indicators.
    • Provide support draw studio team in terms of trouble shooting and repair of equipment where applicable.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicating with Hotline personnel, to provide feedback on completed visits based on dispatches and accurately reporting activity, arrival and departure times and problems, details, and resolutions of failures to the Helpdesk.
  • Maintain in the vehicle an adequate inventory of equipment to replace malfunctioning ones on the field.
  • Completion of all documentation for equipment being returned to the depot for repairs.
  • Support with ad hoc projects as it relates to the Field Service Department.
  • Performance of additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Field Service Supervisor or Field Service Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

† Minimum qualifications

  • Certification in Electricals/Electronics or Telecommunications discipline.
  • Experience in this field of operation

 

† Years’ Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a related field.

 

† Other requirements or skills

  • Owner of a valid driver’s permit.
  • Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical devices required.
  • Speaks clearly and concisely, well understood
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solutions oriented
  • Effective business writing skills, including reports, procedures and letters.
