Job Description:

 

The Office Manager prepares detailed contracts for Janitorial Services with specific deadlines, most within a very short time frame. The position overseas administrative functions that carry a high level of responsibility including Account Payables, processing, balancing and tracking collections of Account Receivables, setting up new accounts, and troubleshooting computers.

 

The Office Manager must provide effective and inspiring Management, as well as stewardship of ABC, by being directly involved in the Sales, Services, Accounting, and HR Departments. Maintain and lead a continuous quality improvement process throughout these areas, focusing on systems/process improvement, and ongoing CIMS certification requirements. 

 

The Office Manager promotes regular and meaningful opportunities for Supervisorial staff to give feedback on program operations, leads a high performing team by further developing and implementing all program activities to operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of ABC Sales & Services. 

The Office Manager will also perform other responsibilities as deemed necessary.


 


Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of accounting systems and all Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.  Have a strong sense of computer technology and troubleshooting.  Have proven experience in hands on Management, policies, procedures. Have the ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.  Have a strong working knowledge of binding contracts, certification requirements, and all Virgin Islands labor laws.

 

The candidate will have a Management style that leads by example.  Have superior organizational skills.  Be a self-motivated leader with a strong comfort level in providing feedback and improvement suggestions.  Possess the desire and capability to get things done, overcome obstacles, and accomplish goals with minimal supervision.  The candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to make and defend their decisions.  They will have an overall pleasant team oriented attitude with strong customer service skills in place.
