Job Description:

As a Sr. Software developer you will design and develop applications and functionality for US government and commercial clients. This includes interface determination and technical feasibility analysis of alternatives. Based on detailed specifications you will collaborate with others to analyze requirements and then design, develop, test and enhance application software.

Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience working across the phases of the software development life cycle, independent of direct supervision. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative environment to review current systems and present ideas for system improvements.

Skills Required

Applicants must be US Citizens.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline. Hands-on experience may substitute for degree requirements.
Minimum of six (6) years of applicable Software Engineering work experience required.
Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in Software Engineering.
Experience implementing software for commercial or government organizations using .Net programming (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, MS Visual Studio) and Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax).
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
Limited travel to the Washington DC Metro Area may be required.

Desired Skills:

Experience with delivering remote unique complex Geospatial systems to the US Government strongly desired.
Good oral and written communications skills with experience in delivering/presenting to customer are a plus.
Experience with SAFe or Agile Scrum processes.
Other related experience with fielded systems and mission/system operations along with system sustainment for high system availability requirements a plus.
Experience with installing, configuring, tuning, and troubleshooting Autonomy IDOL including developing and maintaining scripts for data manipulation and loading
