Job Description:
Concierge needed for a fast-paced kiosk in St. John, to answer questions and make recommendations and thereby providing all the information that the guests may need to enjoy their stay. The responsibilities will range widely based on the needs of the visitor. As the concierge, you will need to be flexible and accommodating. You have to be knowledgeable about the venue and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities often include these tasks done on a daily basis:
Communication Responsibilities: Communicating with the guests is the first responsibility. This includes speaking to them over the phone and in person. You will be the go to person for any of the guests' needs and questions. Good communication skills are vitally important.
Educate the Guest: This may include providing information on the facilities and the services available to be booked. It may also include providing information on travel routes, available tours, schedules for outings and transportation availability.
Handle Bookings: You'll handle bookings for the guests, by setting appointments and making reservations as needed.
Skills Required
To be successful in this type of job, you will need to have good problem solving skills. Good organizational skills are also necessary. Communication skills are essential since you will need to communicate with guests clearly.
