Job Description:

Law Office seeks a Legal Assistant / Receptionist to serve as Problem Solver / Master of Frist Impressions / Happiness Creator for clients. Duties include communicating with clients by phone, letters and email; collecting medical/legal records from clients, hospitals, government and other businesses; scheduling client meetings and depositions; reviewing and proofing court filings; working with clients to answer litigation discovery questions and helping make sure we win our cases in court.

Skills Required

Education: At least a two year college or associates degree; Prior work experience in an office environment preferred; Computer and technology experience in Word, Excel, Power-Point, PDF programs and scanning programs - or the ability to quickly learn. Skills: Extremely polite and courteous, self-motivated, able to work without supervision and to think creatively to streamline processes. Please include with your resume a personal statement writing sample describing an event in your life where you were a Problem Solver / Master of First Impression / Happiness Creator.
