Job Description:

Prepares treatment areas; Maintains rehabilitation equipment and administers therapeutic treatments as per Physical Therapist plan of care; Trains patients in the use of adaptive devices; Assists therapists in the administration of examinations and treatments as requested; Work may involve the supervision of subordinate employees and is performed under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist; Responsible for skilled accurate clinical documentation for billable services; Performs intervention to both out-patient and acute care in-patients with a variety of neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiac disorders. Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

Qualified candidates are expected to currently hold a Physical Therapist Assistant license in the United States and have experience with therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, and gait training with and without prosthetic devices, use of all assistive devices, therapeutic modalities and manual wheel chairs.
