Job Description:

Checkmate Driving School is looking for Driver's Education Instructors for both classroom and behind the wheel training. We are seeking organized, dependable instructors who have a passion for teaching, and an understanding of the importance of safety. Driving Instructor candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with teenage students.

Tutors can expect a predictable weekly pay and all instruction will be done during after school hours in a dual controlled vehicle.

Skills Required

Applicant Requirements:

Industry experience is not necessary, but preferred
Must have strong communication skills, be friendly, patient and want to make a difference in our student's lives.
Must be available and willing to teach 15-25 hours & 5-6 days per week, including after school hours until 8pm, as well as some Saturdays
Able to speak and interact in front of a large group
Must possess at least a HS diploma or GED, have an excellent driver's license record (no DUIs), and a professional appearance
Background check required upon hire.
