Scope & Complexity The Manager provides an array of management services using innovative thinking and creative development to provide solutions. The Manager is often responsible, as required by the needs of the department as indicated by the Director, for decision-making, strategic planning and the full execution of projects. Service areas include: Marketing, Public Relations, Travel Management and, generalized Business Services. Through effective project management, the Manager must identify and manage priorities to ensure team projects are completed in a timely manner while keeping appropriate stakeholders informed. Essential functions include: Project Planning & Management and Presentations Through on-going client interactions and departmental meetings, the Manager will develop an understanding of the client’s specific business needs, capabilities, budgets, and competitive options. In addition, the Manager will ensure that defined brand strategy is consistently applied during the development of internal and external project materials including collateral, print, interactive media and public relations materials, as well as video productions. The ideal candidate is able to track meeting activity & deliverables, create detailed presentations outlining possible solutions to existing initiatives measuring the outcomes of each project. Skills: MS Excel, MS Project, Project Management, MS Powerpoint, Sharepoint Analytic Reading & Writing and Communications In developing marketing materials suitable for all types of media, the Manager is able to interview subject matter experts (SMEs), conduct research studies and review volumes of materials and presentations as necessary to derive key messaging. The Manager will develop multi-media materials and presentations, produce accurate, comprehensive documents to support the needs of our clients. Excellent analytic reading, writing and editing skills are essential. The Manager must be able to apply creative writing and creative development skills to produce and edit documents in all forms of media - print, audio, visual, web. Skills: Analytic Reading & Writing (Please provide sample) Customer Relationship Management The Manager recognizes that service is the central factor in attracting and retaining customers. The Manager is responsible foremost for quality interactions with clients and other stakeholders – timely responses, courtesy, quality product, and top-notch project management are critical. Tracking and measuring interactions, meetings and deliverables for various initiatives finding solutions to enhance client relationships and impact service offerings is important to this role. - Creative Development, Key Message Development, Writing, Editing, Photo selection
- Supplier Sourcing & Estimating
- Monitor & edit for brand compliance with all brands associated with the enterprise and its clients
- Develop internal and external facing communications including press releases, newsletters, magazines and emails.
- Direct the development of audio, visual, and scripting for graphically enhanced video for clients.
- Support the team in measuring and improving digital advertising effectiveness, identify and communicate areas of opportunity and measuring various campaigns and test.
- Project Tracking & Reporting
- Coordinate status meetings with clients to discuss deliverables, job logs, and timelines.
- Interact regularly with clients to communicate schedules, artwork, corrections and budgets.
Skills & Experience · Bachelor's Degree with a Marketing focus · 8 - 10 years experience in Marketing and Public Relations specifically related to creative development High level project management skills · Demonstrated ability to create, assimilate and convey written & audio material in a concise and effective manner utilizing metrics related thereto. · Ability to manage a complex workload and aggressive schedules, to prioritize and meet deadlines. · Ability to work independently and without close supervision or advisement. · Planning, organizing and decision making skills · Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral platforms
