Job Code Number: 321013. The Business Administration Division is seeking candidates who will teach a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Appointees must be able to work productively with students and colleagues of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds in an on-campus teaching environment. Duties include university and division committee assignments, research and scholarly activities and some student advisement.
Rank and compensation will be based on academic preparation, teaching and practical experience. Benefits include a generous TIAA/CREF or Virgin Islands Government Retirement Plan,as well as a comprehensive group medical and dental insurance plan.
Skills Required
Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Ph.D. in Management (Strategic Management preferred) or an ABD with a definite completion date. Practical experience in the discipline and demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level, as well as the ability to work with people of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds are essential. Evidence of research and scholarly activities is expected.
